Join ESC Region 13 and the Local Mental Health Authorities (LMHAs) throughout the region for the virtual blended course of Youth Mental Health First Aid (from the National Council for Mental Wellbeing) to learn the basic knowledge and skills of identifying and supporting students through a mental health crisis. You will also learn about substance use prevention strategies and warning signs of a student struggling suicidal thoughts. This is a proactive course that is incredibly helpful for anyone who works with students of all ages! This course also meets the HB3 requirement for school districts.
