What is dyscalculia? In this webinar, the authors of Exploring Dyscalculia (Dr. Katie Lewis, Amy Anderson, and Dylan Lynn) will invite participants into the complex work of understanding and supporting students with dyscalculia. Grounded in anti-deficit research, this session will present examples of the inaccessibilities students with dyscalculia encounter when working with quantities and mathematical notation. Participants will learn how access and sense-making instructional strategies can support students and help them navigate the inaccessibilities they encounter. Presented by Katherine Lewis.
