Marlon Lynch has over 30 years of public safety experience. Primary areas of focus have been policing, campus safety, security systems, emergency management, threat assessment, and organizational management. Throughout his career as a thought leader and change agent, in executive level positions as Vice President, Chief Safety Officer, Associate Vice President, and Chief of Police at both public and private institutions of higher education in urban and suburban communities. Marlon is widely known in the public safety profession. He served as president of the International Association of Campus Law Enforcement Administrators (IACLEA), chair and commissioner of the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies (CALEA) and has held other leadership roles that have advanced collaboration across the campus safety community. He holds a master's degree in criminal justice administration from Boston University and a bachelor's degree in criminal justice from Michigan State University, and he is a graduate of the FBI National Academy and Northwestern University's School of Police Staff and Command.
