Starting Strong: Building a Foundation for Meaningful Mathematics Teaching and Learning

In this session, participants will explore strategies for launching the school year with intentional practices that foster curiosity, confidence, productive struggle, and meaningful mathematical discourse. Participants will also examine strategies for affirming students' mathematical identities, creating inclusive classroom communities, and designing instruction that helps all learners engage deeply with mathematics.
