As artificial intelligence reshapes our technological landscape, quantum computing is emerging as the next major frontier in science and education. Join author, educator, and NYSCATE Long Island Director Tim Needles alongside Dr. Angela Kelly from Stony Brook University's Quantum Information Science & Technology initiative for an engaging virtual overview of quantum concepts and their growing relevance in K-12 education. Participants will explore the fundamentals of quantum physics and computing, examine how quantum technology intersects with modern AI, and discover practical strategies for introducing quantum concepts across elementary, middle, and high school grade levels. The webinar serves as an introductory preview for an interactive workshop at the NYSCATE Annual Conference in November. No prior background in quantum physics is required. Registration is $10 for general attendees and free for NYSCATE premium members.
