Leading Literacy: Building a Coherent 4-12 Plan

Session four of Evidence in Action: Advancing Adolescent Literacy Through the Science of Reading from The Reading League. This session moves districts from isolated efforts to a coherent systemwide literacy plan beyond the elementary grades. Understand the essential components of a strong 4–12 literacy plan across curriculum, professional learning, data and leadership; learn how to evaluate curricular materials and interventions for evidence alignment; and define clear next steps to communicate, monitor and sustain a systemwide plan.
