Toward a Sustainable Future

This presentation highlights the efforts of the K–12 Technology Environmental Sustainability Committee to promote environmentally responsible practices in school technology programs. With a focus on reducing e-waste, conserving energy, extending device lifecycles, and managing long-term costs, the committee is developing practical tools — including procurement guidelines and a best practices playbook — to help schools make smarter, more sustainable decisions.
