Dr. Michelle Schladant is a RESNA Certified Assistive Technology Professional and Associate Professor at the University of Miami Department of Pediatrics, Mailman Center for Child Development, with over 28 years of experience as a special educator, clinician and qualitative researcher specializing in assistive technology (AT) and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC). She directs South Florida's state-funded AT program and the federally funded Step Up AT program.
