ChatGPT Edu 101 for K-12
Join the OpenAI Education team for a practical introduction to ChatGPT Edu and its everyday applications across K-12 schools and districts. Designed for teachers, school staff, and education leaders who are new to ChatGPT, this live session explores the ChatGPT Edu workspace, the fundamentals of writing useful prompts, and how to improve responses with relevant context and follow-up questions. Examples include lesson planning, adapting instructional materials, drafting family and staff communications, summarizing resources, organizing information, and supporting common administrative workflows. You will learn how to navigate the workspace, create clearer prompts, refine responses through iteration, apply ChatGPT to teaching and school operations, evaluate outputs for accuracy, and follow district guidance around privacy and responsible use. No prior ChatGPT experience is required. This session repeats the foundational material from the August 18 ChatGPT Edu 101 offering, so participants only need to attend one 101 session; a recording will be available for those who cannot attend live.

ChatGPT Edu 102 for K-12
Move beyond the basics and explore how ChatGPT Edu can support more complex work across teaching, professional learning, school leadership, and district operations. Building on ChatGPT Edu 101, this session from the OpenAI Education team demonstrates how educators and staff can improve results through stronger prompting, iterative refinement, approved files, and multistep workflows, and introduces agentic capabilities including ChatGPT Work and Workspace Agents where enabled. You will see practical examples of how these tools can help organize research, prepare communications, support recurring processes, and develop useful work products while maintaining appropriate human oversight and district-specific safeguards. Attendance at ChatGPT Edu 101 or equivalent familiarity with ChatGPT is recommended. This session repeats the advanced material from the August 20 ChatGPT Edu 102 offering, so participants only need to attend one 102 session; a recording will be available for those who cannot attend live.
