Graduate School Financing After Grad PLUS: What TRIO Programs and Students Need to Know
Leadership Brainery presents an overview of the new federal loan limits affecting graduate and professional education. The session explains the elimination of Grad PLUS loans, new annual and lifetime borrowing limits, and the potential effects on students from low-income, first-generation, and under-resourced backgrounds. Participants learn about free tools that help students compare graduate borrowing, debt, earnings, workforce demand, and financial support. Presented by Josh Farris, a TRIO alumnus and former Pell Institute intern.

Cooke Young Scholars Program and Cooke College Scholarship
The Jack Kent Cooke Foundation offers two scholarship programs for high-achieving students with financial need: the Young Scholars Program for middle school students and the College Scholarship Program for high school seniors. Both provide academic advising, financial support, and enrichment opportunities. Talent Search professionals will learn more about both programs, how to identify strong candidates, and how to support students throughout the application process.
