The conversation around student screen time is changing rapidly, creating new opportunities—and new expectations—for education technology leaders to provide informed guidance and thoughtful leadership. As legislation, research, community expectations, and classroom practices continue to evolve, Ed Tech leaders must be prepared to navigate these conversations with confidence and help shape productive dialogue within their districts. This interactive session will examine the latest research, policy trends, and best practices while giving attendees the opportunity to collaborate with peers from across Texas. During a dedicated working session, participants will share community messaging strategies, discuss effective ways to communicate with parents, educators, and school boards, and exchange practical solutions for tracking and monitoring student student screen time in schools.
